For others. the Prolexia Light Pen works with UltraPhonics Tutor to give students a more natural input device, as though they were writing on paper with a pen. Mice require students to translate motion from horizontal (on the mousepad or desk) to vertical (on the display) -- with the light pen, a student writes directly on the screen, more naturally forming letters in the proper ways and in the proper place. Since they use the light pen to write directly on the display monitor, it's important that the monitor is situated within easy reach. The light pen is available for $349 directly from Prolexia. |
