What is UltraPhonics Tutor?
UltraPhonics Tutor is a computer-based teaching program designed to introduce, teach, and reinforce written language skills in a carefully sequenced
and structured format.
The program strongly emphasizes handwriting and spelling via intensive use of multisensory techniques and computer handwriting recognition. Sound/symbol associations, linguistic concepts, and spelling rules are introduced according to Orton-Gillingham teaching principles and are automatically tailored to each individual's learning rate
and special needs.
UltraPhonics Tutor gives positive reinforcement to students for accurate responses, with immediate correction provided for problematic elements and concepts, using multisensory repetition and review until mastery is achieved.
UltraPhonics Tutor generates reports to document students' progress.
UltraPhonics Tutor is designed by national tutor trainers (like Arlene Sonday) to be effective for people of all ages, and gives one-on-one instruction that multiplies the effectiveness of the teacher or parent while satisfying student needs for individual attention.
